OAD8「Lost in the cruel world 」即迷失在残酷的世界里，英文Lost in the cruel world，是系列的第8个OVA，由霸权社和 Production I.G.共同制作，改编自本篇外传漫画第二章《Lost in the cruel world》(三笠篇) ，2018年8月首映，漫画收录于第26卷限定版。紧随漫画发布。漫画的作者叫做Ryōsuke Fuji，似乎是对应汉字“不二凉介”。剧本同样是由谏濑古浩司和荒木哲郎担任。
