V odľahlej časti juhoamerickej džungli sú z vojenského lietadla spustené dva bedne. V jednej je Einstein, zlatý retriever s IQ 175 a v druhej je monštrum geneticky naprogramované na zabíjanie. To bez námahy vyhladí neďaleký tábor rebelov. Vo vojenskej väznici v Kansase je krátko nato oslovený odsúdený major Ferguson (Wings Hauser), ak sa ujme velenia tímu mariňákov, ktorí majú uskutočniť výsadok v džungli, upratať stopy a spacifikovať monštrum. Ferguson súhlasí a tak sa spolu s malou jednotkou onedlho ocitá v džungli. Vojaci však nemajú ani tušenia, aké nebezpečenstvo tu na nich číha.
