Το μεγάλο πάθος του Στιβ Άντιγκτον είναι η θάλασσα και το σερφ. Είναι ευτυχισμένος που μπορεί να ασχολείται με αυτό που αγαπάει και να πληρώνεται. Κανένας χορηγός δεν ασχολείται με το σερφ. Ο Στιβ όμως αρνείται να αλλάξει νοοτροπία και να γίνει μέρος του ψηφιακού κόσμου. Αλλά για κακή του τύχη αυτή τη χρονιά η θάλασσα δεν έχει καθόλου κύμα και από τη μια στιγμή στην άλλη ο Στιβ βρίσκεται σε αδιέξοδο, χωρίς χρήματα και χωρίς την υποστήριξη των φίλων του. Ένας μάνατζερ και ένας καλοκαιρινός έρωτας ίσως δώσουν τελικά τη λύση στον απελπισμένο και αμετανόητο σέρφερ...
